FAQ - What you need to know:

Q: What happens if I show up without pre-registration online?
A: We will do out best to work you in - additional fees may apply. We realize this is a major change! You will gently be reminded about the new policy for future visits to the acute or walk in service
Q: Does this affect my regularly scheduled appointment?
A: NO! Appointments can still be made through our helpful staff and will operate as usual.
Q: Can I reserve an ETS by calling (not online)?
A: Not at this time, the ETS process is simple and easy; it can be done through a computer or mobile device.
Q: I can't operate the internet very well….what do I do?
A: You can always call ahead and we can give you options, or get a relative or friend to help!

Q: What does priority access mean?
A: Walk-in or acute patients who register online at fayettevet.com will book an estimated time of service (ETS). Patients with an ETS will be pre-registered and given priority access over those who come without an ETS (using our traditional walk in system).

Q: How does all this work?
A: WI/Acute ESTs (estimated service times) will open up for the next morning's appointments at 6-7pm the previous day. You will then be allowed to reserve your arrival time (note: this is NOT an appointment and you will likely still have some wait time). If all slots are taken you can check back the following morning as more slots will open.
Q: What do I do if nothing is available?
If all these slots are taken for the day and you must be seen that day you have a few options:
-
Call ahead to see if any appointment slots have opened on our normal schedule
-
Wait for the following day - the process will reset for the following day at 6-7pm
-
Arrive on emergency basis (additional fees may apply)
Q: What about technician procedures? Nail Trims, blood draws, no exam booster vaccines etc...
This procedure currently does not apply to technician appointments (this may change as well in the future). Technician appointments include services that do not in any way require a doctor or an examination (routine blood work, nail trims, anal glands, etc).
